Big plans are underway at the Chicago Transit Authority! A 2013 budget of $1.39 billion includes significant projects that invest, modernize and repair our transit system. Chris Bushell, CTA’s Chief Infrastructure Officer, will highlight the projects the CTA is gearing up for and share information about how your firm can position themselves for future work. About our Speaker:
Christopher Bushell, Chicago Transit Authority, Chief Infrastructure Officer/Senior Vice President is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received his Masters Degree in Architecture. Chris’ career prior to CTA included design and construction management as a consultant to the Chicago Public Schools and later as the Director of Capital Renovations in the Chicago Public School’s Department of Operations. In May 2004 Chris was appointed as the First Deputy Executive Director for the City of Chicago’s Department of Construction and Permits. Since 2007 Chris has overseen the maintenance, construction, and engineering related to the CTA’s rail and facility infrastructure.

Walk-ins will be charged an additional $15 for day of registration. Walk-ins are anyone desiring to register after the registration close at 5:00 pm the Monday prior to the program.
Access the venue at atrium level. There is a surface parking lot just south of 311 S Wacker.
