About Our Speaker

Deborah Hodges, President, Golden Square

Deborah is the president of Golden Square, a management consultancy, providing management and marketing services to businesses on a national basis. She has over 25 years of marketing and business development experience and served as a marketing director for five top-ranked ENR-rated firms in the three main disciplines- A/E/C. In big and small A, E, and C firms, her responsibilities included directly managing the development of in-house work services, responsible for day-to day operations, directly managing the development of client engagement, and managing the overall strategic plan for operations, marketing management, and professional development. In 2008, Deborah launched Golden Square to put her expertise, as a rainmaker and marketer, to work with companies and marketing teams to elevate their outcomes and successes. Today, Golden Square works with companies to identify and live their true distinctive brands, engage their clients and unite the marketing and business development team in their efforts.

Deborah has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from North Central College and a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies-Business Administration and Communications with a focus in marketing from De Paul University. She loves traveling and technology. She has presented programs to several organizations such as CHEF, CWA, CCIM, and other SMPS chapters and at the national conference. For many years, she volunteers her time with the Ronald McDonald House as a Family Ambassador.
