There’s a fine line between transformation and disruption when implementing new technology solutions. Digital tools like drones, laser scanning, & BIM collaboration provide innumerable data points, but the value of that information depends on how your firm is leveraging it. This program will break down the latest technology trends impacting the AEC industry through case study examples of what’s working, and what’s not. Prepare to discuss your experiences with digital collaboration by sharing your experiences and perspectives in a roundtable discussion. We will identify “low-hanging fruit" opportunities for design and construction professionals to change traditional process through integrated technology solutions that positively impact everyone's bottom line.

About Our Speaker

Nathan C. Wood,  Founder and Chief Enabling Officer of SpectrumAEC
Nathan Wood has emerged as an innovation thought leader across the AEC industry. Nathan’s experience with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Lean process improvement, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) has led him to realize how proven technology solutions can too often result in adoption failure and lost ROI.

As Founder and Chief Enabling Officer of SpectrumAEC, Nathan supports the digital transformation of AEC organizations and design-build teams by aligning the needs of people and process before deciding on the best-fit technology. Using a Lean A3 approach, Nathan blends Emotional Intelligence (EQ) with Design Thinking strategy to help teams overcome adoption barriers through collaborative debate and a mutual respect for different perspectives.

Outside of SpectrumAEC, Nathan continues to support industry progress through speaking engagements, industry research publications, and serving as chair of the CPCoalition.
