When A/E/C firms acquire other firms – whether to expand geographically or to broaden their capacities and service lines – they must first develop internal plans for effective branding strategy and marketing integration. Noreen Ellis, Chief Communications Officer at Knight E/A, Inc., will share her experience on how Knight focused their approach to branding and marketing for two recent acquisitions. There will be real-world lessons and tips for all, whether you are a recently merged, acquired, or boutique business enterprise!

Senior marketing and business development professionals with 10 years or more experience in the A/E/C industry are welcome to join the series. These sessions are geared towards those with experience managing business development, marketing budgets, firm procedures and operations with a direct staff and internal resources.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

With more than 20 years of transportation communications and marketing experience, Noreen Ellis has proven expertise in the development and execution of communication strategies designed to engage a variety of audiences and gain support for transportation projects and innovations. She leads all aspects of Knight’s communications, public outreach and marketing efforts. Before joining Knight, Noreen served as Manager of Communications for Amtrak Intercity serving 46 states where she identified target audiences, developed effective messages and prepared communication tools including executive speeches, congressional testimony, newsletters, website, media kits and full-scale marketing and message campaigns. Noreen is also an active member of WTS. She currently sits on the WTS Greater Chicago Advisory Board, has served on the Board of Directors, chaired the 2015 International Conference and was named the 2012 Member of the Year for the chapter.

This is a members-only event. Breakfast is included in the $25 ticket.
