This interactive session will demonstrate to attendees how they can stand out from the crowd and position themselves by finding their niche, filling a need in their organization, and taking advantage of the power of education, reputation, and relationships.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendees will take with them specific ideas on how to advance their careers through case studies provided by other successful professionals along with their contact information to use as a resource and add to their network.

2. Attendees will leave this session with a strategic workbook for their professional development to use as a reference guide. They can utilize this with their supervisor or mentor to work on their professional development goals.

3. Attendees can partner with another attendee where they will each develop three goals to complete over the next year in their professional development plan. Partners will help to keep one another accountable for the goals they set out by maintaining contact over the following year.
